'Queer Love' A3 Poem Print unframed

Four beautiful prints of one of my most-requested poems, designed in collaboration with the incredible Medley Design studio. There's a red and a black colourway, both with a version of the full poem and a standalone line.

The full poem reads:

queer love is the most beautiful thing
it’s to love without boundaries or restriction
it’s narrating your own plot
and writing a real story as magic as fiction
because you can make it up on your own
when there’s no templates to borrow
you can fully lead with your heart
when there’s no rules to follow
you can be free of expectations
with no norms in which to wallow
you can defy all the odds
when all they sold you was sorrow
and you don’t take for granted
something that may never see tomorrow

a love that is freedom and honesty
in the face of fear and shame
a love where self-acceptance and authenticity
are the sparks to the flame
a love that is true selves creating space
merging lanes and chosen names
a love that is
holding a place that can’t be caught
owning a truth that can’t be bought
feeling a safety that you’ve always sought,
and fully understanding a language that
you were never taught,
but you just know you have to express
it’s that warmth in your chest
that they’ve tried to repress
that they say counts for less
because they didn’t create it

they envy it so much
they have to demonise and debate it
it’s so free of their rules that they have it
persecuted and hated
the more they fight against it
the more we have to celebrate it
and you can do it because you want to
not because it’s expected or tradition
not through constraints or conditions
not down to timelines or superstitions
it’s yours and yours only
so please grant yourself permission 

to have a love that won’t be easy
it’s brave and unnerving,
to cherish something you never thought possible
or that you were deserving,
but if you do one thing in this life:
please allow it to your future self
and forgive all your past versions
